Featuring Past and Current Inspiring Women

Meet Linda Yaccarino, media extraordinaire

Elon Musk has announced the new CEO for Twitter will be Linda Yaccarino, former chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal. With her stellar expertise in the media industry, Yaccarino could help “restore advertisers’ faith in Twitter” as the company has faced multiple struggles in generating a steady income before and after Elon Musk took over.

Meet Kalpana Chawla, space trailblazer

Kalpana Chawla was the first Indian-American astronaut to go to space, receiving a bachelor’s degree and PhD in aerospace engineering. In 1994, she was one of only 20 accepted in NASA’s astronaut program out of 4,000 applicants, where she was able to participate in two missions to conduct research on the sun and the impacts of low gravity.

How Did They Get There?

Yaccarino and Chawla were (and are) the top of their respective industries, but they didn’t start out that way; you need to have a solid foundation established through experience, connections and a self-starting attitude before you become the top dog. Gen She can provide this foundation through our internship and full-time role matching program, as we strive to foster the next generation of billion dollar companies built and led by you. 🌟
