The Taylor Swift Eras Tour was one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, podcasts like All-In and Call Her Daddy are turning into live shows, and dating app shares are hitting an all-time low. None of this is new—we’ve been watching this shift since the pandemic. But what might surprise you is that we’re still only at the beginning. The internet is overflowing with tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and Instagram that allow anyone to create and build their dream life. Yet, the farthest we continue to be from is human-to-human connections, and IRL is becoming more of an urgent need.

Even though this movement has been underway for years, there's still immense room for growth. As digital spaces become oversaturated, people are craving in-person experiences that foster deeper trust and community. That’s why I’m investing in IRL. Brands and creators are increasingly finding value in blending digital influence with physical presence through live events, pop-ups, and immersive experiences. IRL isn't just a trend—doing it well is the next frontier of connection and innovation.

In this past year, as I’ve grown my brand, many people have told me, "With your audience, you could literally sell a course and become an overnight millionaire," or "You get thousands of downloads of your resources every week—imagine how much money you could make if you just charged $5." And honestly, they’re right. I’ve seriously considered it many times, but I’ve always ended up disregarding the idea. For a long time, I didn’t understand why I found it so cringe, but now I know. It feels outdated. It doesn’t feel authentic. And most importantly, it goes against my mission of ungatekeeping access and making it as easy as possible for as many people to unlock their potential.

More than that, I want to leave a legacy—not something that’s just a quick cash grab. I want to build something truly innovative and lasting, something that solves real problems. And the truth is, I’m not entirely sure what that looks like yet.

That’s why I’ve decided to take Gen She on an IRL tour and test a bunch of ideas. We’re starting in India, our second-largest market, where media is poised to become a superpower, thanks to Bollywood and a population of 1.5 billion people. Media’s business model revolves around eyeballs, and India, as the world’s most populated country, feels like the perfect place to learn what I need to know to build the future of Gen She’s media business.
