ENTREPNUERSHIP & VENTURE CAPITAL

🛠️ Build Gen She With Me

Everyone knows that to actually achieve your goals, you need to put some stake in the ground, or you’re unlikely to reach them.

So, this is me putting my stake in the ground and publicly announcing my 2024 goals to keep me accountable. It’s what the TikTok girlies are calling ~manifestation~

In 2024, I will:

- Hit 100K IG followers 📈
- Grow my newsletter to 60K subscribers 💌
- Publish S2 of The Gen She Podcast 🎙️
- Launch a new venture ✨
(I can’t tell you what the new venture is yet, but it’s probably the first thing that popped into your head!! 😉)

…now I’m officially on the hook!

How did I come up with these goals? Well, I made a vision board! In the spirit of transparency, here’s what mine looks like if you’re in need of some inspo 💫

 💰️ Mom, I Am a Rich Man
An interview series uncovering the stories and strategies of badass women on a quest to find richness in health and wealth.

Nadya Okamoto (25)
Nadya Okamoto is the co-Founder of August, a lifestyle period brand working to reimagine periods to be powerful. Outside of her work in the menstrual health space, Okamoto is also a social media creator with over 4m followers on TikTok. She recently graduated from Harvard College, class of 2021. She has been recognized on the lists of Forbes 30 under 30, Bloomberg 50 “Ones to Watch” and People Magazine's Women Changing the World.

  1. What’s your favorite social media growth hack? I am a shitposter. I do not have very curated or polished content - probably the opposite lol. And I think working at that pace also allows me to hop on trends really quickly.

  2. How much do you make? What I'll say is I make a small founder salary from August, and support the rest of my life via the work I do on social media.

  3. Best money advice you’ve ever received? Abundance mindset. Save, of course, to a point where you can operate with more of an abundance mindset.

  4. What’s one non-negotiable for your mental health? Sleep as much as possible. I sleep like 8-10 hours a night, and I need it!! Making up for years of barely sleeping.

Consistent peak performance is challenging and requires a foundation of mental wellness. By adopting self-care practices with a licensed therapist, you ensure sustained energy levels, focus, and productivity to maintain high levels of performance over the long haul.

Mental health challenges are a normal part of life, and so is asking for help.

~I’M ENTERING MY OWNERSHIP ERA~
